The roots of Castleknock Cricket Club trace back to 2006, when a formal committee was established at the Crowne Plaza Hotel with the vision of creating a structured cricket club in the area. Driven by a shared passion for cricket among a close group of friends, the club officially came into existence in 2011, marking a significant milestone in our cricket club history. Significant groundwork was undertaken to secure facilities at Porterstown Park, which remains our proud home ground today.
In 2012, the club transitioned from Clonee Cricket Club to Castleknock Cricket Club, marking the beginning of a new chapter in identity and ambition, as well as laying the foundation for future Castleknock cricket achievements.
